Interested in an executive position in the Cube for 2010–2011? Elections are coming up, so get your nominations together! This is a great opportunity to show leadership, challenge yourself, and have fun! For your name to go on the ballot, you will need nominations from ten members of the CSSS (all students in the Computer Science department are members).
Nominations can be printed or picked up at the Cube Office (ICICS X139). Forms must be submitted at the Cube Office by March 19 to be approved by CSSS Returning Officer, Ignacio Rodriquez.
The positions open are:

- Vice President, Internal
- Vice President, Social
- Vice President, Volunteering Services
- Treasurer
- Secretary

MusicBox Children's Charity is looking for a webmaster
MusicBox Children's Charity is a non profit registered charity dedicated to providing music lessons (e.g. choir, private lessons, etc) to children in the inner-city community. We are currently in a partnership with the RayCam Community Centre where programs are being run every Wednesday and Saturday. We are looking for a Webmaster to work with the executive team to create a website. The Webmaster will be responsible for updating, improving, managing, etc. the website.

Vancouver Student Entrepreneurship Association presents Bright Ideas Competition 2010
Bright Ideas Competition 2010 is now accepting applications!
You think you have an entrepreneurial idea? Compete in this year's Bright Ideas Competition. It is SIMPLE: Get together in your teams and answer a few questions about your idea. This year's prize pool is $1500 (cash + professional services).
Submit your application by March 27, 2010 at 11:59PM to anna.an@vsea.ca. The top 6 teams will present in the Final Round of the Bright Ideas Competition on April 8th, 2010.

Experiment Participants Needed
The Natural Language Processing group in Computer Science is recruiting participants for an experiment relating to analysis of meeting interactions. This involves reading and rating summaries of meeting conversations. The task takes 1 to 1.25 hours and the compensation is $10. We will be running the experiment for the remainder of the week, and through the middle of next week. Scheduling is flexible. Please contact Gabriel Murray if you are interested. Participants need to be at or near native-level English proficiency.
